What I Wore Today: 2.15.13

Happy Friday, everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's, gal-entine's, pal-entine's, whatever you want to call it. We did not get a chance to celebrate last night, but will be this weekend. Having a family sometimes makes for scheduling conflicts. :)
Taking advantage of the somewhat warm weather, I decided today was another great day for pattern double-duty. Today's pattern: stripes.

The cardigan is a recent purchase I snagged over the weekend. I have always been in the market for more cardigans, and when I saw this one, I just had to have it. I see this being quite a versatile addition to my closet. As for today's look, I'm still a tiny bit on the fence. It was early, I was half-asleep, and at the time, I really liked how they looked together. I still like the look, but as the day goes on, I grow more and more "ehhhhh."

What I Wore Today: 2.14.13

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

If you don't know by now, I LOVE shopping. I also LOVE scoring great deals at clearance and sales racks, thrift stores, consignment shops, and even online places like eBay or Craigslist. If you follow me on Instagram, you'd know that the other day, I scored a GORGEOUS cream Christian Dior sweater for a mere FIVE DOLLARS. Probably my greatest score ever so far. You can see it here.

Being that it's Valentine's Day, I knew that I wanted to incorporate red into my look. The cream color of the sweater goes very well with the tan Levi's jeans, and the white shirt. And, it was just cold enough that I could add a scarf into the mix for a little more red. :)

What I Wore Today: 2.13.13

Happy hump day, folks!

Old Man Winter apparently must have heard what I said about the onset of spring, and quickly jumped in to remind me that winter is still around, and here to stay, for a little while, anyway. This gave me a great opportunity to wear this new sweater I found hanging on the clearance racks of Belk. I LOVE the deep purple color, and as soon as I found a medium size, I snatched it up (of course I tried it on first; I ALWAYS try on clothes first). I knew right then and there that this would be a sweater I would find myself going to over and over again.

I can't wait to play around with pairing many different colors and patterns with this new sweater. Of course, this isn't the only thing I picked up. I snagged ALL sorts of things, which you'll see eventually. :)

What I Wore Today: 2.12.13

Spring is definitely in the air today.

Daylight is getting longer (thank goodness!), and temperatures are slowly starting to warm up. What a better way to welcome spring by wearing some spring colors?

What I Wore Today: 2.11.13

Today was definitely a sneaker day.

You know how it goes: it's Monday, it's cloudy and rainy, you're tired, and want to stay in bed, so you grab whatever, throw it on, and head on out.

Case of the Mondays.
